From the M5 turn off J23 to Bridgewater then follow the A39, the scenic coastal route. Alternatively, take J27 to Tiverton, then follow signs to Barnstaple (A361) to Blackmoor Gate. Lynton is found just off the A39 between Barbrook and Lynmouth on the B3234. Follow the signs, 'Valley of Rocks', when you arrive in Lynton itself. Rail & Bus

The nearest rail station is Barnstaple, approximately 20 miles.  There is a regular bus service No 310 from Barnstaple to Lynton.
