Immediate reservations can be made with the provision of credit or debit card details or provisionally reservations may made and held for 7 days until your deposit is received. Confirmation of which will be made.

Deposits are normally required, £10 per person per night. Cheques payable to J.E. & S McGowan. Please send to: The Denes, 15 Longmead Lynton Devon EX35 6DQ. We do not surcharge our guests who wish to pay by credit card.

Cancellation Policy.

Cancellation, Curtailment and No-Shows Policy and Holiday Insurance

Cancellation within 48hrs of booking accommodation                       No Charge

Deposits will be forfeited on cancellation. Bookings secured by credit/debit cards; the appropriate amount of deposit will be taken at the point of cancellation. Bookings cancelled within 14 days of arrival, then 50% of the booking value becomes payable. No-shows and curtailments will be charged 100% of booking value.

Any cancellation fee taken may, at the proprietors’ discretion, be used as a deposit against a future booking.

You are advised to consider holiday insurance, especially if booking well in advance. Cancellation Plan offers refund if you have to cancel your holiday through illness or death of a close relative and even covers car breakdown, personal money or property whilst on holiday.
